Russian National Wheelchair Basketball Team took part in the European Championship in Division A
The European Championship in Division A in wheelchair basketball ended in the Polish city of Walbrzych.
Starts took place from August 28 to September 9.
At the group stage of the competition, the Russian National Team was defeated by the Turkish National Team (63-52), Spain (101-35), Netherlands (72-40), Israel (58-36) and France (76-66).
In a bid for the 9th place, Russian athletes lost to the teams of Switzerland (77-70) and Austria (62-56).
The UK National Team became the winner of the competition, who defeated the National Team of Spain in the final (77-52).
The Turkish National Team took the third place.
