Winners of the Russian Juniour Championship at the goal ball

Today the closing ceremony of the junior Championship in Goal Ball, organized the Federation of the blind took place.

The Championship ( March 23-30, 2017) was attended by 60 young men and 44 young women, aged 14 to 19 from 17 regions of the Russian Federation.

Arina Gerasimova (Volgograd region) and Ivan Antonenk (Novosibirsk region) were pronounced the best players, and Anena Zhuravel (Yaroslav region) – 48 goal and Mikhail Egorov (Tulskaya region) – 62 goals were the best players.

There were 12 men teams who competed for medals, the athletes from Tulskaya region become the winners. The silver went to the team from Novosibirskay region and bronze to the Moskovskaya region-1.

Medals in women teams were distributed as: gold went to the Vologodskaya region, silver to Moskovskaya region and bronze to Leningradskaya region.
