The silver medalist of the Paralympic Games Vladimir Balynets won the all-around event at the European Powerlifting Championships (classic bench press) among healthy athletes

In France, from 9 to 12 August, the European Powerlifting Championships (classic press) took place among healthy athletes.

Honored Master of Sports of Russia, silver medalist of the XIV Paralympic Summer Games 2012, representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Vladimir Balynets performing in the weight category up to 59 kilograms took weight 172.5 kg and won the European Championship. His closest pursuer from Poland lifted a weigh of 147.5 kg.

In addition, Vladimir became the champion of Europe in the absolute category.
