The Russian national para-taekwondo team won 5 medals at the international tournament "Gangwon Chuncheon 2026 World Para Taekwondo Open Challenge"

On July 8 and 9, the prestigious international para-taekwondo tournament "Gangwon Chuncheon 2026 World Para Taekwondo Open Challenge" was held in Chuncheon, South Korea.

The Russian team's tally includes 5 medals: one gold, one silver, and three bronze.

The winner of the tournament was Aliasakhab Ramazanov in the over 80 kg weight category.

The silver medalist was Elena Savinskaya in the over 65 kg weight category.

Bronze medals were won by Maria Fisenko (weight category up to 52 kg), Matvey Fefelov (weight category up to 80 kg), and Bilal Yakhyaev (weight category over 87 kg).
