The European Paracycling Road Championships have concluded in Italy
From June 12 to 14, the European Paracycling Road Championships were held in the cities of Maniago and Montereale Valcellina (Italy).
Russian athletes delivered commendable performances, falling just short of a podium finish in several events.

Cycling was first included in the program of the VII Paralympic Summer Games in 1984 in New York and Stoke Mandeville. The competition features athletes with physical impairments as well as visual impairments. Races are held on bicycles, tricycles, tandems, and handbikes. At the XVI Paralympic Summer Games in Tokyo, Mikhail Astashov won two gold medals, and Ruslan Kuznetsov won one gold medal.
