Russian Team Wins 11 Medals at Paratriathlon World Cup in Samarkand
On April 26, the World Triathlon Para Cup Samarkand 2026 took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The competition distance included 750 meters of swimming, 19 kilometers of cycling, and 5 kilometers of running.
For the first time in a long while, Russian paratriathletes competed on the international stage under their national flag and won 11 medals: 5 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze.
World Cup champions are: Semyon Radaev (PTWC), Vasily Egorov (PTS2), Andrey Tolstikov (PTS4), Anna Plotnikova (PTS3), and Irina Grazhdanova (PTS5).
Silver medals were won by Viktor Chebotarev (PTS3), Alexander Yalchik (PTS5), Veronika Gabitova (PTS2), and Evgenia Koroleva (PTS3).
Bronze medalists are Alexander Konyshev (PTS5) and Andrey Bukov (guide athlete Igor Polyansky, PTVI).
