Russian Paralympians to Compete at the ITTF World Para Future Aktobe 2026 International Table Tennis Competition in Kazakhstan

From July 23 to 29, the international Paralympic table tennis competition ITTF World Para Future Aktobe 2026 is taking place in Aktobe (Republic of Kazakhstan). The competition days are from July 25 to 28.

Russian Paralympians will vie for medals: Yuri Nozdrunov (Moscow Region), Elizaveta Zaitseva (Nizhny Novgorod Region), Safira Faizutdinova (Chelyabinsk Region), Irina Voronina (Chelyabinsk Region), Eva Kuts (Chelyabinsk Region), Timur Khusnullin (Chelyabinsk Region), Evgeny Ryazantsev (Republic of Bashkortostan), Dmitry Chubarov (Samara Region), Erenburg Miksonov (Saint Petersburg), Olga Gorshkaleva (Saint Petersburg), Anastasia Kostenevich (Saint Petersburg), Elena Tikhonenkova (Moscow), Malyak Alieva (Moscow Region), Nadezhda Pushpasheva (Udmurt Republic), Alexander Sokolov (Republic of Khakassia), Milana Rodygina (Moscow), Elena Prokofieva (Republic of Bashkortostan), Kristina Nechaeva (Lipetsk Region), Danat Ismailov (Saratov Region), Daria Barilova (Saratov Region), and Inna Balakhchina (Republic of Khakassia). Some athletes will need to undergo international sports classification at this tournament.

Table tennis was first included in the program of the I Paralympic Summer Games in 1960. Athletes with physical impairments and intellectual impairments participate in two categories – wheelchair (classes 1–5) and standing (classes 6–10). Men and women compete individually, in doubles, and in teams. The Paralympic program includes singles and doubles events. A match consists of five games, each played to 11 points, and the winner is the athlete or pair who wins three out of five games. At the XVII Paralympic Summer Games in Paris (France), Russian tennis players won silver and bronze medals.
