Russian athletes won 19 medals at the international Paralympic table tennis competitions in Kazakhstan
From July 22 to 29, the international Paralympic table tennis competitions "ITTF World Para Future Aktobe 2026" were held in Aktobe, Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the competition, Russian athletes won 19 medals – 6 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze.
In the singles event, the top step of the podium was claimed by Yury Nozdrunov (class 9), Dmitry Chubarov (class 2), Malyak Aliyeva (class 6), and Milana Rodygina (class 8).
Silver medalists were Yevgeny Ryazantsev (class 2), Timur Khusnullin (class 6), Nadezhda Pushpasheva (class 1–2), Darya Barilova (class 8), Safira Fayzutdinova (class 10), Yelena Prokofyeva (class 11), and Aleksey Kudryavtsev (class 11), while bronze medals went to Anastasia Kostenevich (class 10), Yelena Tikhonenkova (class 4–5), and Yeva Kuts (class 9).
In the doubles events, gold medals were won by: Anastasia Kostenevich and Olga Gorshkaleva in class WD20, and Olga Gorshkaleva together with Taiwanese athlete Su Jin Sian in class XD20. Bronze medalists were: Erenburg Miksonov and Alexander Sokolov in class MD4–8, Nadezhda Pushpasheva and Yelena Tikhonenkova in class WD5–10, and Alexander Sokolov and Inna Balakhchina in class XD10.
A total of 22 Paralympic athletes from Russia took part in the competitions: Yury Nozdrunov (Moscow Oblast), Elizaveta Zaytseva (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast), Safira Fayzutdinova (Chelyabinsk Oblast), Irina Voronina (Chelyabinsk Oblast), Yeva Kuts (Chelyabinsk Oblast), Timur Khusnullin (Chelyabinsk Oblast), Yevgeny Ryazantsev (Republic of Bashkortostan), Dmitry Chubarov (Samara Oblast), Erenburg Miksonov (Saint Petersburg), Olga Gorshkaleva (Saint Petersburg), Anastasia Kostenevich (Saint Petersburg), Yelena Tikhonenkova (Moscow), Malyak Aliyeva (Moscow Oblast), Nadezhda Pushpasheva (Udmurt Republic), Alexander Sokolov (Republic of Khakassia), Milana Rodygina (Moscow), Yelena Prokofyeva (Republic of Bashkortostan), Aleksey Kudryavtsev (Moscow), Kristina Nechayeva (Lipetsk Oblast), Danat Ismailov (Saratov Oblast), Darya Barilova (Saratov Oblast), and Inna Balakhchina (Republic of Khakassia).

Materials from the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments and the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Intellectual Impairments were used.
Table tennis was first included in the program of the 1st Summer Paralympic Games in 1960. Athletes with physical impairments and intellectual impairments participate in two categories – wheelchair (classes 1–5) and standing (classes 6–10). Men and women compete in singles, doubles, and team events. The Paralympic program includes singles and doubles competitions. A match consists of five sets, each played to 11 points, and the winner is the athlete or pair that wins three out of five sets. At the XVII Summer Paralympic Games in Paris (France), Russian table tennis players won silver and bronze medals.
