Russia's national team claimed 5 medals at the IPC World Cup in shooting.
From July 21 to 30, the World Cup in Paralympic Shooting took place in Novi Sad (Serbia).
Following the competition, the Russian national team won 5 medals – 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze.

The Russian national team featured 14 shooters: Sergey Malyshev (Saratov Region), Natalia Dalekova (Samara Region), Marina Abdullina (Belgorod Region), Oksana Berezovskaya (Omsk Region), Vlada Bespalova (Belgorod Region), Andrey Balukho (Khabarovsk Krai), Vladimir Gentler (Omsk Region), Svetlana Dementieva (Moscow Region), Alexander Logutenko (Novosibirsk Region), Robert Ostanin (Republic of North Ossetia – Alania), Olga Mikhailova (Omsk Region), Valery Ponomarenko (Republic of Adygea), Irina Ryazanova (Moscow), and Vladimir Shatokhin (Moscow).

Shooting for athletes with physical impairments is a Paralympic sport that was first included in the program of the V Paralympic Summer Games in 1976 in Toronto. The competition provides for certain special adaptations for non-standing athletes – chairs (standing position) and support tables (kneeling and prone positions). At the international level, the sport is governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), and competitions are held under modified rules of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). The competition program consists of 7 rifle events and 6 pistol events, with shooting conducted using air and small-bore weapons at distances of 10, 25, and 50 meters. Of the thirteen disciplines, 3 are contested exclusively by men or women, while in 7 disciplines men and women compete together. Athletes are divided into 2 functional classes – SH1 and SH2. In the qualification round, the 8 best athletes are selected to compete for medals. The winner in each event is determined by the total score earned in the final round. At the XVI Paralympic Summer Games in Tokyo (Japan), Sergey Malyshev won a bronze medal.
