AROUND 70 ATHLETES WILL TAKE PART IN THE RUSSIAN CUP AND THE NATIONAL CHILDREN'S AND YOUTH CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND BIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED ATHLETES

From January 25 to 29, the city of Peresert (Moscow region). In Peresvet (Moscow region) on the basis of the ski club of the Olympic champion Alexander Legkov will be the Cup of Russia and the All-Russian children's biathlon and cross-country skiing competition for people with a physical disability

 

Around 50 athletes will take part in the Russian Cup, including the strongest skiers and biathletes from Russia and abroad - 2-time Paralympic champion and outright 2022 world champion Vladislav Lekomtsev, 3-time Paralympic champion Ekaterina Rumyantseva and 2-time Paralympic champion Rushan Minnegulov, Alexander Pronkov, 2-time Paralympic champion, Alexander Davidovich, 2-time world champion, Irina Gulyaeva, 2-time Paralympic bronze medallist, Natalia Kocherova, world champion, and Ivan Kodlozerov and Yulia Mikheyeva, winners and runners-up of the World Cup stages.

 

About 25 athletes of 2 age categories (born in 2004-2007 and 2008-2012) will contend for the medals of the youth competition.

 

Programme of competitions:

On January 25 starts in cross-country skiing on medium distance will take place.

On January 26th short-distance cross-country skiing

On January 28 starts in individual biathlon will be held

29 January a sprint in biathlon
