10 July 2026

From July 13 to 16, the international table tennis tournament "ITTF World Para Future Nakhon Ratchasima 2026" will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

More than 260 athletes from 37 countries are expected to take part in the competition.

Nine Russian Paralympians will vie for medals:

4 athletes with physical impairments — Evgeny Ryazantsev (Republic of Bashkortostan), Nadezhda Pushpasheva (Udmurt Republic), Vladimir Toporkov (Sverdlovsk Region), and Milana Rodygina (Moscow);

5 athletes with intellectual impairments — Tatyana Snegireva (Kurgan Region), Elena Prokofieva (Republic of Bashkortostan), Omar Musaev (Republic of Dagestan), Anastasia Egorenkova (Smolensk Region), and Victoria Minaeva (Saint Petersburg).

Detailed information about the competition is available on the website of the International Table Tennis Federation: https://www.ittf.com/tournament/3440/ITTF-World-Para-Future-Nakhon-Ratchasima-2026/

Table tennis was first included in the program of the 1960 Summer Paralympic Games. Athletes with physical impairments and intellectual impairments compete in two categories — wheelchair (classes 1–5) and standing (classes 6–10). Men and women compete in singles, doubles, and team events. The Paralympic program includes singles and doubles competitions. A match consists of five games, each played to 11 points, and the winner is the athlete or pair that wins three out of five games. At the XVII Summer Paralympic Games in Paris (France), Russian table tennis players won silver and bronze medals.
