BOTH RUSSIAN SITTING VOLLEYBALL TEAMS ARE OFF TO A GREAT START AT EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN HUNGARY
European championships in sitting volleyball are taking place in Budapest, capital of Hungary, from July 13 to 21.
Men Russian national team was successful in their double-header, sweeping Turkey and Poland 3:0.
Russian women were strong against Finland, defeating them with the best score possible (3:0).
On July 16th, Russian men will face Bosnia and Herzegovina and Netherlands, women will compare strength with Italians.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is considered the strongest team in Europe for the last decade. Their results on Paralympic games are relatively consistent as well (2 gold and 3 silver medals). In their last meet with Russians on 2018 World Championships, Bosnians were stronger 3:1.
