March 14, Moscow – President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has awarded organizers of Paralympic Games in Sochi, heads of sport federations, coaches and other distinguished persons contributed into the success of the Sochi Paralympic Games.
Sir Philip Craven, President if the International Paralympic Committee has been awarded by Order of Honor.
Mr. Xavier Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer of the International Paralympic Committee has been awarded by Order of Friendship.
Vladimir Lukin, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee has been awarded by Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” 3rd class.
Pavel Rozhkov, Chairman of the Executive Committee and 1st Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee has been awarded by Order of Honor.
Irina Gromova and Amir Gumerov, head coaches of Russian Nordic Skiing team, Lydia Abramova, President of the Sport Federation for Persons with Visual Disabilities, Alexey Kopytin, head coach of Nordic Skiing Team, Alexander Nazarov, head coach of Apline Skiing Team, Sergey Samoylov, head coach of Ice Sledge Hockey Team, Anton Batugin, head coach of wheelchair Curling team also have been awarded by National State Awards.
