The Russian National Para Taekwondo Team won 5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals at European Championships in Italy.

In Bari, Italy ended the European Para Taekwondo Championship.

The Russian National Team won 5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals following the results of the competitions in the sports class of Keruga (athletes with physical impairments).

In the Paralympic Class K44, Russians became the owners of 1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals.

The European champion in the weight category up to 75 kg became the Dagestani fighter Magomedzagir Isaldibirov.

Bilal Yakhev (Chechen Republic, over 75 kg) and Daniil Sidorov (Republic of Dagestan, the Ivanovo Region) won the second place.

The bronze winners of the championship were Zainutdin Ataev (Republic of Dagestan, over 75 kg), Vladimir Feofanov (Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District- Yugra, up to 75 kg), Mariam Salimgereeva (Moscow, over 58 kg) and Anna Poddubskaya (the Krasnodar Territory, up to 49 kg).

In the “non – Paralympic” classes the following athletes won medals:

“Gold”: Vladislav Krichfalushiy (the Perm Territory, K41, up to 61 kg), Valery Bazin (the Yaroslavl Region, K41, up to 75 kg) and Eugeniy Alifirenko (Republic of Dagestan, the Sverdlovsk Region, K41, up to 61 kg).

“Silver”: Rinat Yakupov (the Udmurtian Republic, K41, up to 61 kg), Mukhtar Kumaev (Republic of Dagestan, K42, over 75 kg).

“Bronze”: Lukman – Hakim Istamulov (the Kabardino Balkarian Republic, K42, up to 75 kg), Zaira Irazieva (Republic of Dagestan, K42, over 58 kg).
