WELCOME FROM OLEG MATYTSIN, MINISTER OF SPORT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION, TO THE PARTICIPANTS AND ORGANIZERS OF THE RUSSIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE'S REPORT-ELECTION CONFERENCE
25 March 2022
Dear colleagues!
On behalf of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and myself personally I send greetings to participants and organizers of the next report and elective conference of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
Throughout the years of its existence the RPC has become one of the most authoritative and progressive non-governmental organizations in the country, and has achieved considerable success in the development of the Russian Paralympic movement.
Today in Russia there are about one and a half million people with disabilities who are regularly involved in adaptive physical education and sport. Russian Paralympians are rightfully considered one of the strongest in the world, which they have repeatedly proved by their performances at the Paralympic Games, World Championships and other major competitions.
I'm sure that at the conference there will be a detailed analysis of the current state of Russian Adaptive Sports, and the decisions that contribute to the further development of the Paralympic movement in our country will be worked out. I wish all the participants of the report and elective conference of the RPC fruitful work and successful realization of all plans!
