The International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament "Kemal Sahin Open" was held in Turkey from 15 to 18 May.
The representative of the Moscow region Victoria Lvova won the gold medal in the women's singles category.
In the first round, Lvovf defeated US representative Emmy Kaiser, and in the quarterfinals - 2-time 2016 Paralympic champion, representative of the Netherlands, Jiske Griffioen.
In the semifinals of the competition, Victoria defeated Manami Tanaka, and in the final - Shoiri Funamizu. Both athletes represented Japan.
The representative of the Moscow region Lyudmila Bubnova dropped out of the fight for medals, losing in the first round to the representative of Turkey Bursa Un.
In doubles Lvova with the representative of Argentina Maria Florencia Moreno in the first round defeated Bubnova with the representative of Turkey Nursen Sen.
In the quarterfinals, Victoria and Maria lost to a pair of Katharina Kruger from Germany and Saki Takamuro from Japan, eventually becoming the bronze medalists of the tournament.
