Vice-President of the PCR, President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for the Blind O.V. Semenova took part in events in Georgia dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the International Blind Sports Federation

On September 24, events dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the International Blind Sports Federation – an open meeting of the organization's Executive Committee – were held in Tbilisi (Georgia).

President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Andrew Parsons and President of the International Blind Sports Federation Ilgar Rahimov addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.

During the celebratory events, Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for the Blind, 3-time Paralympic champion Olga Semenova presented Ilgar Rahimov with a commemorative plaque from the Russian Paralympic Committee with congratulations addressed to the organization.

The open meeting of the Executive Committee was also attended by First Vice-President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for the Blind, Paralympic medalist in table tennis Yuri Nozdrunov, Sports Director of the Goalball Committee of the International Blind Sports Federation Alexey Baryaev, representatives of national paralympic committees, sports federations and organizations, and others.
