THE RUSSIAN WHEELCHAIR CURLING TEAM IS THE WINNER OF THE WCT TALLINN WHEELCHAIR INTERNATIONAL 2022

From 7th to 9th January in Tallinn (Estonia) was held an international wheelchair curling tournament "WCT Tallinn Wheelchair International 2022". Teams from Latvia, Russia, Scotland, Finland, Sweden and Estonia took part in the competition.
According to the regulations, at the first stage teams played in a round robin, and then the final games took place.
At the group stage, Russian athletes defeated teams from Scotland (5:4), Estonia (7:4), Finland (9:5), Latvia (7:2) and Sweden (7:2).
In the final of the competition Russia defeated Sweden again with a score of 6:1.
The Russian national team players were: Konstantin Kurokhtin, Andrey Mescheryakov, Olga Belyak and Anna Karpushina; coaches Anton Batugin and Sergey Shamov.
The Russian Paralympic Committee congratulates the Russian national wheelchair curling team for winning the international tournament in Estonia.
