The Russian Wheelchair Curling Championship will be held in Novosibirsk

From 20 to 27 April in Novosibirsk in the curling club "Penguin" the Russian Wheelchair Curling Championship 2021 will take place.

The competition will be attended by 12 teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Moscow region, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Samara and Sverdlovsk regions, Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar regions and the Udmurt Republic.

According to the rules of the competition, at the first stage, teams play in groups (6 each in groups A and B) in a round robin system.

At the second stage, the two best teams of group B go to group A (points of a personal meeting between these teams are taken into account), where they play with all teams from group A.

At the final stage of the competition, the team that took the first place goes directly to the final, the teams that took the 2nd and 3rd places will play in the semifinals for reaching the final.

Matches consist of 8 ends. All matches are played until a winner is identified; if the main part of the game ends with a draw, an extra-end (ends) is held.
