THE RUSSIAN PARALYMPIC EQUESTRIAN TEAM IS THE WINNER OF THE RUSSIAN EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION'S ANNUAL FKSR AWARDS!
On Friday, April, 15th the results of the annual FKSR AWARDS were summed up!
This year the awards were given to the leaders of nine categories. The winners were announced by stars of pop, politics and sports.
In the nomination "Against all odds" the FKSR President Marina Sechina paid special tribute to the Russian Paralympic team.
Two contenders shared the victory in the nomination "For Contribution to Development". The sympathies of the voters were divided between Nikolay Aristov, the member of the RKDF Bureau and the owner of Maxima Park Equestrian Center, and Denis Scherbakov, the President of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Ugra Equestrian Federation. The leaders of the voting were announced by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
The followers of the social networks of the Equestrian Federation of Russia chose Mikhail Suchkov as the "Professional of the Year". Prize "Horse breeder of the Year" went to one of the oldest farms of the country - Kirov Horse Farm.
Merits of the young rider Milena Bereisha were awarded in the "Rising Star" category. The trainer of the rider Alina Zakharova was awarded "Trainer of the Year".
For the first time this season there was a nomination "Horse of the Year". The award was given to the gelding of Dutch warm-blooded breed Bivaldi, who paired with the master of sports of international class Alexander Belekhov. The horse was given an author's blanket.
The "Athlete of the Year" was Egor Shchibrik, who is at the highest position in the world ranking among Russian show jumpers.
The nominees for the fourth FKSR AWARDS this year were announced by Mikhail Galustyan, Anita Tsoi, Pavel Derevyanko, "Babkin Grandsons" musical group and Olga Kormukhina.
