THE RUSSIAN PARA SWIMMING CUP AMONG ATHLETES WITH INTELLECTUAL IMPAIRMENTS ENDED IN SARANSK

On June 12-15 in Saransk (Republic of Mordovia) the Russian Para Swimming Cup among athletes with intellectual impairments took place.
The competition was attended by 58 athletes from 21 regions of Russia.
Swimmers competed for medals on the following distances: 100 meters breaststroke, 100 meters freestyle, 100 meters backstroke, 100 meters butterfly, 200 meters integrated swimming, 200 meters freestyle, 4x50 and 4x100 mixed relay, 4x50 and 4x100 mixed freestyle relay.
The best multimedalists of the competitions: Alexey Degtyarev (Moscow region) won 6 gold medals; Valeria Shabalina (Chelyabinsk region) became 5-times winner of the Russian Cup; Alina Tupitsyna (Saratov region) became the owner of 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals; Vyacheslav Emelyantsev (Sverdlovsk region) and Angelina Makarova (Moscow) won 2 gold medals each.
