THE RUSSIAN PARA POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP AND PARA POWERLIFTING JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP AMONG ATHLETES WITH INTELLECTUAL IMPAIRMENTS ENDED IN NIZHNY TAGIL
From June 7 to June 13 in Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk region) on the basis of sport complex "President" took place the Russian Para Powerlifting Championship and Junior Championship in discipline - "Powerlifting Triathlon".
More than 60 weight-lifters from Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tula, Moscow, Leningrad, Kurgan regions, the Republic of Mordovia, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region and Saint-Petersburg took part in the competition.
Competitions were held by the rules of classical triathlon. The result of each athlete was calculated by summing up three indices: squat, bench press and deadlift. Based on the weight category of the athlete and his result, the absolute coefficient was calculated.
