THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL TEAM WILL TAKE PART IN THE WORLD CUP STAGE IN PARA CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND BIATHLON IN FINLAND
Vuokatti (Finland) will host the final stage of the World Cup in cross-country skiing and biathlon of the International Paralympic Committee for the sports season 2020/2021.
The competition program includes 4 cross-country skiing and 2 biathlon races. On March 19, there will be medium-distance races, on March 20 - a sprint, on March 22 - at a long distance, and on March 23 - at a short distance.
Biathlon medals will be awarded on March 25 and 26 in sprint and individual races, respectively.
The Russian National Team included 18 athletes with physical impairments and 10 athletes with visual impairments.

Previously, the World Cup stage was hosted by the city of Planica (Slovenia) from February 28 to March 10. The Russian National Team won the medal standings, having won 21 gold, 12 silver and 16 bronze medals.
According to the results of the competition, Vladislav Lekomtsev, Stanislav Chokhlaev and Ivan Golubkov took the lead in the intermediate offset of the World Cup in Cross-Country Skiing and Biathlon, and Vera Khlyzova in Biathlon.
