THE RPC LEADERS TOOK PART IN A MEETING OF THE COMMISSION ON THE CERTIFICATION OF THE HEAD AND SENIOR COACHES OF THE NATIONAL TEAMS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN WINTER SPORTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

On 25 April the Russian Paralympic Committee leaders took part in the meeting of the Commission on attestation of chief and head coaches of the Russian Federation National teams on winter sports of people with physical impairments under the chairmanship of Andrey Strokin, All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments President, Secretary General of the RPC and 5 times Paralympic Games Champion.
Meeting was held in a mixed mode - in person and via videoconference.
Senior coaches of Russian national teams in skiing and biathlon Irina Gromova, in biathlon Andrey Gladyshev, in alpine skiing Alexander Nazarov (head of national team Liia Oganesyan), snowboard Evgeny Pronashko (team manager Liia Oganesyan) and sledge hockey Ruslan Batyrshin (team manager Grigory Mamonov) provided the members of the attestation commission with the reports on the work done, the performance of the athletes in the sports season 2021/2022.
The participants discussed the work plans for the coming sports season, conducting training camps, providing athletes with equipment and inventory, medical provision, increasing the competition calendar by increasing the number of All-Russian competitions and holding open sports competitions of various statuses with the invitation of athletes of friendly states, increasing the number of stages of Russian championship in team sports, providing Russian athletes to participate in competitions on the territory of friendly countries.
All head coaches and heads of the national teams passed successfully attestation and will be recommended for approval on the corresponding positions on the meeting of the Council of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, which will take place on April 28, 2022.
In work of the commission the vice-president of Board of Trustees of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, the RPC President Pavel Rozhkov, the chairman of Governing Board, the first vice-president of RPC Artem Toropchin, vice-president of the RPC, the 3-time champion of Paralympic games Olga Semenova, vice-president of the RPC, the champion of Paralympic games CP Football Ivan Potekhin, honorary president of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments the PCR Lev Selezov participated.
