TASS: THE PARALYMPIC COMMITTEES OF RUSSIA AND TAJIKISTAN SIGNED AN AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION

SOCHI, October 5. /TASS/. The Russian and Tajikistan Paralympic Committees concluded a cooperation agreement on Wednesday, the meeting of the heads of the organizations was held within the framework of the Summer Games for Para Athletes "We are together. The signing of the agreement took place in the Russian International Olympic University. Pavel Rozhkov, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) and Parviz Bobosharipov, President of the Tajikistan Paralympic Committee signed the document.
"Earlier we signed the agreements on cooperation with the Paralympic Committees of Armenia and Belarus, today we are glad to extend the geography of our cooperation with the colleagues from the nearest foreign countries and we are glad to sign the agreement with the Paralympic Committee of Tajikistan, - said Rozhkov to TASS after signing the document. - The document will allow our countries to conduct more widely training events, participate in open competitions on the territories of our countries and implement educational programs."
"The Paralympic movement in our country develops relatively recently, we just start our performances at the competitions and mainly move forward due to enthusiasm, - said Bobosharipov. - But this is the second time we come to Russia for the Paralympic Games, and we also participated in Khanty-Mansiysk. We are learning and developing new sports, and it is important for us that we have signed the document today. These Games are called "We are together. Sport" and it is true - we are together, and sport unites us."
