TASS: RUSSIAN PARA SNOWBOARD ATHLETES WILL HOLD A TRAINING CAMP IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. The Russian national para snowboard team will hold a pre-season training camp in the United Arab Emirates. Pavel Rozhkov, president of the Russian Paralympic Committee, told TASS on Thursday.
"From October 20 to November 5 in the United Arab Emirates will be held a preseason training camp of the national para snowboard team. It is worth noting that para snowboarders traditionally hold a training camp in Dubai on the eve of the sports season. The sports facility meets all the requirements for the organization of training events and international competitions, it has a prepared track for banked slalom," said Rozhkov.
"From October 1 to 12 also in Dubai, the Russian national para apline skiing team held a preseason team," he added.
On September 24 a source told TASS that the Ministry of Sports has excluded from the Unified calendar plan training events and sports competitions involving Russian national teams planned to hold in foreign countries until a special order.
