TASS: PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION OF THE RUSSIAN DELEGATION FOR THE PARALYMPIC GAMES HAS TAKEN PLACE
MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. Pre-registration of the Russian delegation for the Paralympic Games in Beijing has taken place. This was reported to TASS by Pavel Rozhkov, acting president of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
"Today the preliminary registration of the Russian delegation for participation in XIII Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing has taken place via video-conferencing. According to the results of the registration, the organizing committee of the Games will prepare and send accreditation cards for the members of the delegation to the RPC," said Rozhkov.
"The final composition of the Russian team will be approved at the meeting of the RPC Governing Board by February 18. We will also send the sports technical applications for participation in all sports to the organizing committee of the Games by February 18. On February 19 the International Paralympic Committee will confirm to us the eligibility of Russian athletes to participate in the Games of 2022, including the compliance with the anti-doping testing requirements. Registration of the delegation for the Paralympic Games of 2022 will take place on 21 February", - added Rozhkov.
The Beijing Paralympic Games will take place from 4 to 13 March, 2022.
