TASS: 422 CANDIDATES TO THE RUSSIAN TEAM FOR PARALYMPICS MUST PASS ANTI-DOPING TESTING

MOSCOW, March 19. / TASS /. All Russian Paralympic athletes applying for the Tokyo Paralympics must undergo a mandatory doping test before traveling to Japan. Pavel Rozhkov, First Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC), announced this at a meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
"Our Paralympians must pass mandatory anti-doping testing. Now there are 422 candidates on the expanded list, they must pass 826 anti-doping tests," - Rozhkov said.
The Summer Paralympics will take place in Tokyo from August 24 to September 5, 2021.
