SKIER ALYABYEV AND PARA SNOWBOARDER SLINKIN WON BRONZE MEDALS ON THE NINTH DAY OF THE IPC WINTER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

From 12 to 23 January in Lillehammer (Norway) RPC team takes part in the World Championship of the International Paralympic Committee in winter sports (Para Snow Sports World Championships).

On January 21 there were competitions in alpine skiing in the "slalom" discipline and in para snowboard in the "snowboard-cross" discipline

At the end of the competitions RPC team won two bronze medals.

In Alpine Skiing Alexander Alyabyev (Moscow/Sakhalin Region) took the third place in the standing category.

Mikhail Slinkin (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra), SB-UL class won bronze medal.

According to the results of nine days of the Championship, the RPC Team collected 17 gold, 19 silver and 16 bronze medals.

13:30-16:00 Snowboard, team competitions
14:30-17:30 Nordic Skiing, sprint (men/women)
