SERGEI LALAKIN WAS ELECTED AS CHAIRMAN OF THE SUPREME BOARD OF TRUSTEES (SUPERVISORY BOARD) OF THE ALL-RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF SPORTS FOR PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENTS
At the regular report-election conference of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, which is taking place in Podolsk (Moscow region) in the Palace of Culture "October", Sergey Lalakin was elected as Chairman of the supreme board of trustees (Supervisory Board).
Sergey Nikolaevich Lalakin has been at the head of the High Guardianship (Supervisory) Council of the Federation since 2007. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the charitable foundation "Heritage" in Podolsk. He made a significant contribution to the development of sports for individuals with locomotor apparatus disorders in Russia. In 2009, he was one of the initiators of the first Russian Sledge Hockey Championship held at the Vityaz sports club ice arena.
He was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree (2007), the Order of Friendship (2014) and other awards.
