RUSSIAN CHAMPIONSHIP AND RUSSIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP IN BASKETBALL AMONG ATHLETES WITH INTELLECTUAL IMPAIRMENTS ENDED IN YEKATERINBURG
On May 23-29 All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Intellectual Impairments held Russian Basketball Championship and Russian Basketball Junior Championship in Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk region).
Teams from Yekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk Region), Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk Region), St. Petersburg and Perm (Perm Region) took part in the competition. Four teams took part in the Russian Championship and three teams in the Russian Junior Championship.
According to the results of the Russian Championship the team from Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk region) won the victory, the team from St. Petersburg won silver, the team from Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk region) came in third place.
In Russian Junior Championship the team from Nizhny Tagil-1 (Sverdlovsk area) became the best, the team from Nizhny Tagil-2 (Sverdlovsk area) took the second place, the team from St. Petersburg took the third place.
