Russian archers took part in 7th Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament and won 3 gold and 1 silver medals.
An international archery tournament “7th Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament” was held in Dubai (UAE) from 21 to 27 February.
Representatives of seven countries took part in the competition.
In the overall team event, the Russian National Team took second place and won 3 gold and 1 silver medals.
The winner of the team event was the Turkish National team with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
In individual competitions, Anton Zyapaev (Sverdlovsk region) won gold in classic archery, and Stepanida Artakhinova (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) - in compound bow.
Stepanida also climbed to the top step of the podium in mixed compound archery, competing in pair with an athlete from Moscow region Nail Gatin.
Denis Ten (Khabarovsk Territory) and Elena Krutova (Moscow Region) won silver medals in the mixed double among athletes of the W1 class (neck).
The Russian Paralympic Committee congratulates the Russian National Para Archery Team of persons with Physical Impairments for winning 3 gold and 1 silver medals at the international tournament in the UAE.
