RPC IN THE PERM REGION TOOK PART IN THE EVENT "EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE", ORGANIZED FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

On 30 March 2022 the Permsky Krai Regional Branch of the Russian Paralympic Committee headed by its Chairman and member of the RPC Governing Board Alexander Ivonin took part in the event "Everything is Possible" organized for children with disabilities .

More than 60 children from correctional schools and organizations working with disabled children of Solikamsk and Berezniki, their parents and teachers participated in the Paralympic lesson " Everything is possible ".

The meeting took place in the wonderful Cultural and Business Center of Solikamsk for two hours .

At the beginning of the Paralympic lesson "Everything is possible", Alexander Ivonin told about the establishment of the Paralympic movement in Perm Region, the first athletes, famous in Russia and the Region, about the development of adaptive physical education and adaptive sports in our time and about the Champions of Paralympic Games in Tokyo (Japan). He paid special attention to the first competitions for the disabled in the Perm region in the distant 90s, as well as to the holding of the XII Perm Regional Paralympic Sport Festival this year, which consisted of 8 stages.

The heroes of the Paralympic lesson " Everything is possible" were Lyubov Paninykh - Honored Master of Sport of Russia, 4-times champion of the Paralympic Winter Games, Ivan Azanov - Class 1 athlete in Parabadminton and 3-times winner of the Russian championship in badminton.

Athletes told how they started their way to the big sport, about their failures and successes, about fears and doubts and ways of overcoming them, about support of their relatives and close ones.

The meeting was held in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere; the participants asked questions to which they received truthful and sincere answers.

At the end of the Paralympic lesson "Anything is possible" the children presented the representatives of Prikamye Paralympic movement with flowers and gifts made by their hands.
