Rozhkov: The RPC takes into account the IPC decision on admission to the Games and will comply with it in full
The Russian Paralympic Committee fully takes into account the decision of the International Paralympic Committee and will comply with it in full. This was reported to TASS by Acting President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, chef de mission of the RPC delegation Pavel Rozhkov.
"Leaving aside our attitude to the reasons for such a severe punishment of the RPC, we fully takes into account the decision of the International Paralympic Committee and will implement it in full" - said Pavel Rozhkov.
"The RPC once again informs that it regrets that due to the known circumstances, the Ukrainian Paralympians had problems with arriving to the Winter Games in Beijing. We also have to overcome a lot of problems.
We hope that the Games will be held in an atmosphere of friendliness, mutual understanding and respect and will prove that even in the moments of crisis the concept of "Paralympic family" is not an empty phrase," - added Pavel Rozhkov.
