ROZHKOV: RUSSIAN PARALYMPIANS WERE INVITED TO THE PARA ATHLETICS COMPETITION IN GERMANY

MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. The Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) has received an invitation from the German athletics medalist Sienna Christen with an invitation to take part in the competition in Germany. About it at a forum "We are together. Sport" said the president of the RPC Pavel Rozhkov.
"We are optimistic that in the near future the situation will normalize. There is no consensus in the international community, we just yesterday received a letter from Paralympic Games medalist Kristen, who heads the Freital Club, which conducts the para athletics competitions. The start [of the competition] will be on June 25 in Germany, she invites us to Germany. And such letters come to us from other countries, from those that are called unfriendly," Rozhkov said.
Kristen is a bronze medalist at the 2000 Paralympic Games in shot put among the visually impaired.
The forum "We're Together. Sport" takes place in Moscow on March 30 and 31. At its framework experts and specialists of sport sphere, representatives of federal and regional authorities discuss the Strategy of development of physical culture and sport in Russian Federation until 2030.
