ROZHKOV HELD A MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE RUSSIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE AT THERPC OFFICE
On 7 April the President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Pavel Rozhkov in the RPC office held a meeting of the RPC GB.
The meeting was held in mixed mode - in person and via videoconference.
At the beginning of the meeting the members congratulated the vice-president of the RPC and the president of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities Sergey Evseev on his birthday, and then they have started to consider the agenda.
The members of RPC GB discussed the questions of preparation and holding open All-Russian sport competitions on Paralympic kinds of sports on the territory of the Russian Federation with participation of representatives of friendly countries within the framework of All-Russian competitions.
At the meeting there were approved the renewed staffs of Working groups on preparation of sports national teams of the Russian Federation for participation in the XVII Paralympic Summer Games 2024 in Paris (France) and the XIV Paralympic Winter Games 2026 in Milan-Cortina (Italy), and also the heads of committees, commissions, councils and working groups of the Russian Paralympic Committee for the period from 2022 till 2026.
Besides that, there were considered the questions of holding the events dedicated to the International Day of Disabled People in December 2022, measures on implementing the decisions of the regular reporting-election Conference of the Russian Paralympic Committee, which took place in Podolsk (Moscow Region) on 25 March 2022, and other questions of current RPC activities.
