The Russian Paralympic Committee congratulates Irina Gromova, Senior coach of the Russian national team in cross-country skiing and biathlon, with the loss of the musculoskeletal system, Honored Coach of Russia on her anniversary.

Her entire life is dedicated to serving the sport. She started her career as a talented athlete, and then found her recognition in the coaching field.

He has been working with the Russian Paralympic national team since 1992. During this period, more than one generation of outstanding athletes, professionals of the highest class, were brought up, who forever inscribed their names in the victorious chronicle of national and world Paralympic sports. Among the students: 6-time Paralympic champion Sergey Shilov, 6-time Paralympic champion Roman Petushkov, 2-time Paralympic champion Vladimir Kiselyov, Paralympic champion and now State Duma deputy Mikhail Terentyev, as well as a huge number of world-class champions and medalists.

At the competitions of the highest rank, Irina Alexandrovna's students invariably lead, demonstrate a decent level of skill, focus on results and an indomitable will to win.
