President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Vladimir Lukin took part in the medal ceremony of Russian Ski Run -2017 in the Tver region

President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Vladimir Lukin took part in the medal  ceremony of Russian Ski Run -2017 in the Tver region.

President of the RPC, together with the Governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya  awarded diplomas and medals to athletes  with impairments , participants of the traditional Ski Run.

Vladimir Lukin stressed the importance of support for people with impairments.

Igor Rudenya noted that the regional authorities pay special attention to the needs of people with impairments.

"This is a special element of our work. It is important that society is  consolidated, regardless of the capabilities that people have ", - said the Governor.

Athletes with impairments  took part  in Russian Ski Run for the ninth time in theTver region.

More than  70 people with disabilities covered the 1 km disatance.
