PAVEL ROZHKOV WILL TAKE PART IN IPC EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY VIA VIDEOCONFERENCE

The President of Russian Paralympic Committee will take part in IPC Extraordinary General Assembly via videoconference. The leadership of the IPC has been unable to fulfill their obligations to ensure the personal participation of the RPC delegation at the IPC Extraordinary General Assembly. The German authorities rejected the IPC's visa request for me as the President of the RPC, which is both unprecedented and unacceptable for the country where the Headquarter of the International Paralympic Committee is located. Also, entry visas were not issued to the delegates of other National Paralympic Committees. This is an interference of politics in Paralympic sport, which goes against Olympic and Paralympic values.

The IPC General Assembly will be held in Berlin on November 16. Status of the Russian Paralympic Committee as the membership organization will be discussed during the General Assembly Meeting.
