PAVEL ROZHKOV TOOK PART IN THE IWAS EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING VIA VIDEOCONFERENCE
On 6 September Pavel Rozhkov, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Vice-President of the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) took part in the IWAS Executive Board meeting via videoconference.
The meeting was chaired by IWAS President Rudi Van Den Abbeele.
Members of the Executive Committee considered questions of membership in the organization, integration of IWAS with the International Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA), organization and holding of the IWAS World Games 2022 which will take place from November 23 to 30 in Vila Real de Santo Antonio (Portugal) and others.
IWAS is a member of the International Paralympic Committee, the founder of the Paralympic movement . Federation more than 60 years develops adaptive sports in about 60 countries of the world. The headquarters of the International Federation is located in Aylesbury (UK). The president of the IWAS is Rudi Van Den Abbeele (France), vice-presidents are Tariq Almansouri (UAE) and Pavel Rozhkov (Russia).
The next meeting of the IWAS Executive Board will be held on October 11, also by videoconference.
