Pavel Rozhkov is elected as the President of the Russian Paralympic Committee
At regular reporting and elective Conference of the Russian Paralympic Committee, which takes place in Podolsk (Moscow Region) in the Palace of Culture "October", the elections of the President of the Russian Paralympic Committee were held.
Pavel Rozhkov has been elected to that post.
Pavel Rozhkov has been Acting President of the Russian Paralympic Committee since March 2021. He was elected as Chairman of the Governing Board and First Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee since 2006.
Pavel Rozhkov - Honoured Coach of Russia, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.
He has an impressive experience in leadership positions in sports:
- Since 2004 - permanent head of working groups of the RPC for the preparation of Russian national teams for the Paralympic Games, chief of the mission of the Russian national team at the 8 Paralympic Games.
- Member of the Executive Committee of the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) since 2013, Vice-President of IWAS since 2015.
Awarded the Order of Honor (2014), Order of Friendship (2010), Letter of Commendation from the President of the Russian Federation (2011), Acknowledgement from the President of the Russian Federation (2013) and other state and departmental awards.
