PAVEL ROZHKOV IN VIDEO CONFERENCE MODE HELD A MEETING OF THE COMMISSION FOR CERTIFICATION OF THE CHIEF AND SENIOR COACHES OF SPORTS TEAMS OF RUSSIA IN WINTER DISCIPLINES OF SPORTS OF PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENTS

In the video-conference mode, a meeting of the Commission for Attestation of the Head and Senior Coaches of Sports National Teams of Russia in the winter disciplines of sports of persons with physical impairments was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Commission, Chairperson of the Governing Board, First Vice President of the Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments Pavel Rozhkov.

Senior coaches of the Russian national sledge hockey teams Ruslan Batyrshin (head of the team Grigory Mamonov), cross-country skiing and biathlon Irina Gromova (head of the team Elizar Suslov), biathlon Andrei Gladyshev provided the members of the certification commission with reports on the work done, the performance of athletes in the sports season 2020 / 2021 and talked about plans for the upcoming sports season.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to preventing the spread of coronavirus infection among athletes and the coaching staff of Russian National Teams.

Pavel Rozhkov reminded senior coaches of the decision of the RPC Governing Board to recommend athletes, staff and coaches to undergo vaccination against COVID-19.

The members of the Commission decided to postpone the certification of senior alpine skiing coaches Alexander Nazarov and snowboarding Evgeny Pronashko due to the coaches' unwillingness to pass certification.

Senior coaches in sledge hockey, cross-country skiing and biathlon, as well as all team leaders have been certified and their candidacies will be recommended for approval at the meeting of the Council of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, which will take place on May 5, 2020.

The attestation commission was attended by the General Secretary of the RPC, the President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, 5-time Paralympic champion Andrei Strokin, Honorary Vice President of the RPC Anatoly Tsarik, Honorary Vice President of the RPC, Honorary President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments Lev Seleznev, champion of the Paralympic Games in CP Football Ivan Potekhin, Director General of the Federation Raisa Oganesyan, head of the Department for Paralympic and Deaflympic Sports of the FSBI "CSP" Vladimir Bogachev and others.
