PAVEL ROZHKOV HELD A MEETING OF THE RPC GOVERNING BOARD
On 27 July the President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Pavel Rozhkov in the RPC office held the meeting of the Governing Board of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
The meeting was held in mixed mode - in person and via videoconference.
Members of Governing Board discussed the questions of the organization and carrying out of the international complex sport competitions "Summer Games of Para Athletes "We are together. Sports" of sports for persons with physical impairments, visual impairments, intellectual impairments, CP Football, taekwondo among men, women.
Competitions will take place in Sochi (Krasnodarsky Kray) during the period from October, 2 till October, 9th.
Approximately 1500 athletes, including 150 from the foreign countries will take part in this event.
Following sports will be included in the sports program: athletics, swimming, table tennis, archery, Para-Taekwondo, wheelchair fencing, Cp Football, as well as a draughts and chess.
The games will be held at the sports facilities of the Yug-Sport Southern Federal Sports Training Center (track and field athletics, table tennis, fencing, CP Football and taekwondo), Yunost sports complex (draughts, chess, archery) and the Grand Hotel Polyana at the Gazprom State Trading Center (swimming).
According to the recommendations of the RPC Committee on Legislation and the RPC Committee on Regional Policy the members of the Governing Board have voted for the establishment of the Russian Paralympic Committee Regional Branch in Primorsky Krai, and also confirmed Alexander Tsybulsky as Chairman of the RPC Regional Branch.
Also during the meeting questions of implementation of the program on professional development of coaches and hockey specialists for 2022 "Implementation of additional professional programs - programs of professional development for 20 coaches and sledge hockey specialists from not less than 5 regions of the Russian Federation" and creation of the Qualification Assessment Center of Russian Paralympic Committee were considered.
In addition, questions concerning the current activities of the RPC were considered.
