PAVEL ROZHKOV HELD A MEETING OF THE BUREAU OF THE RPC WORKING GROUP ON PREPARATION OF RUSSIAN PARALYMPIC TEAMS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE XIII PARALYMPIC WINTER GAMES IN 2022 IN BEIJING, CHINA

Pavel Rozhkov, Chairman of the Executive Committee, First Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee and Chief of Missions of the RPCR at the XII Paralympic Winter Games 2022 in Beijing (China) held the meeting of the Working Group Bureau of the RPCR on the training of Russian Paralympic teams to participate in the XIII Paralympic Winter Games 2022 in Beijing (China) by videoconference.
At the meeting the following issues were discussed: the formation of the Russian Paralympic teams in skiing and biathlon for people with locomotor disorders and blind sport, outfitting of Russian Paralympic teams, organization and carrying out of final training sessions, etc.
The special attention was given to the necessity of measures, aimed at keeping health of the Russian delegation members both during preparation and participation in Paralympic Games.
In session took part the Secretary General of PCR, the president of the All-Russian Federation of Sports of Persons with Disabilities, the 5-fold champion of Paralympic Games Andrey Strokin, the vice-president of PCR, the president of Federation of Sports of Blind People Lydia Abramova, honorary vice-president of PCR Lev Seleznev, the senior coach of National Skiing and Biathlon Team of Russia on sports of persons with disabilities, Merited Coach of Russia Irina Gromova, Senior Coach of the Russian National Team in Biathlon for Persons with Disabilities, Merited Coach of Russia Andrey Gladyshev, Senior Coach of the Russian National Team in Cross-Country Skiing and Biathlon for the Blind, Merited Coach of Russia Alexey Kopytin, heads of sports teams, employees of the RPC Apparatus, etc.
At the meeting the following issues were discussed: the formation of the Russian Paralympic teams in skiing and biathlon for people with locomotor disorders and blind sport, outfitting of Russian Paralympic teams, organization and carrying out of final training sessions, etc.
