ON 3 DECEMBER, INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, THE RUSSIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE WILL HOLD A PARALYMPIC LESSON AND AN ONLINE QUIZ, WITH THE WINNERS RECEIVING VALUABLE PRIZES FROM FORWARD
On 3 December, as part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Russian Paralympic Committee will hold the Paralympic Lesson and online-quiz, the winners of which will receive valuable prizes.
The Paralympic lesson will begin at 2 p.m. Moscow time on the RPC official VKontakte page (https://vk.com/russianparalymp). It will be led by Acting RPC President Pavel Rozhkov, 3-time Paralympic champion in athletics for the blind Olga Semenova and Paralympic champion in football for the disabled Ivan Potekhin. Participants in the Paralympic Lesson will learn about the development of the Paralympic movement, Russian athletes' achievements at the XVI Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo and the sports and programme of the forthcoming XIII Winter Paralympic Games in Beijing (China).
The on-line quiz will be held on the official website of the Russian Paralympic Committee (3dec.paralymp.ru) from 14:30 till 18:00 Moscow time. Participants will be asked to answer 20 questions in 20 minutes at a single attempt.
The 10 winners who answer all the questions correctly the fastest will be awarded commemorative gifts from the Russian Paralympic Committee and Forward Company, and all registered participants will receive a commemorative e-certificate.
