MOSCOW TEAM BECAME THE RUSSIAN CHAMPION IN WHEELCHAIR CURLING

From May, 25th till June, 2nd the Russian Curling Federation held the Russian Wheelchair Curling Championship in Samara (Samara region).
The competition was attended by 14 teams from 12 regions of Russia. About 70 athletes fought for the tournament medals.
Moscow team won the gold medal of the national championship, the Chelyabinsk Region team took the second place, and the Saint-Petersburg-2 team closed the top three.
The awards ceremony was attended by Lidia Rogozhinskaya, acting Minister of Sports of the Samara Region, Vitaly Ivanov, Director of Samara Arena, Olga Zharkova, General Secretary of Russian Curling Federation, member of the RCF Executive Committee, Anton Batugin, member of the RCF Executive Committee, Russian National Wheelchair Curling Team Head Coach, Victor Bogatov, member of the RCF Executive Committee, President of Samara Region Curling Federation and Valery Kogan, Chief Judge of the competitions.
