MOSCOW REGION TEAM "PHOENIX" WON THE GOVERNOR’S CUP OF ORENBURG REGION – SECOND ROUND OF THE RUSSIAN SLEDGE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP

In the city of Orenburg, the matches of the Governor’s Cup of Orenburg Region - second round of the Russian Sledge Hockey championship ended.

Competitions were held at the Zvezdny Ice Palace. 8 teams took part in them.

The winner of the second round of the Russian championship and the Governor's Cup was the Moscow Region "Phoenix", who conceded 2 goals in the competition and scored 21 points in the overall standings of the Russian championship.

The second place went to the Ugra agricultural holding. The bronze medalist of the competition was the SHT “Udmurtia named for V.N. Kuznetsov".

Places from the fourth to the eighth were distributed as follows: "Hawks" (Orenburg region), "Zvezda" (Tula region), Moscow City Team, Bashkir Pirates (Republic of Bashkortostan) and Chelyabinsk Region National Team, respectively.

In personal nominations, the following were noted:

-          The best goalkeeper Dmitry Kozlovsky - "Hawks";

-          Best forward Dmitry Lisov - Phoenix;

-          Top scorer Nikolay Terentyev - Ugra;

-          The best defender Dmitry Galkin - “Udmurtia named for V.N. Kuznetsov ";

-          The most valuable player Alexey Eremin is the Hawks.

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the competition was attended by the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Orenburg Region Sergey Salmin, Vice-President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, 3-time Paralympic champion Olga Semenova, and others.

According to the results of two rounds of the Russian championship, Phoenix is ​​in the lead in the overall standings. On the second place is SHT "Ugra" and on the third - "Udmurtia named for V.N. Kuznetsov".

Next came the teams: "Hawks" (Orenburg region), the Moscow team, "Bashkir pirates" (Republic of Bashkortostan), "Zvezda" (Tula region) and the Chelyabinsk region team, respectively.

The third round of the Russian championship will be held in Aleksin at the Republican educational and training base of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation "Oka" from 15 to 24 March.
