MORE THAN 100 ATHLETES HAVE APPLIED FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE RUSSIAN WHEELCHAIR FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP

From June, 13th till June, 19th in Ufa (Bashkortostan Republic) in the Center of sports training of Bashkortostan Republic named after Rima Batalova the Russian Wheelchair Fencing Championship will take place.
More than 100 athletes applied for participation in competitions: among them leaders of the national team - 2-time champion of Paralympic Games Alexander Kuzyukov, champions of Paralympic Games: Maxim Shaburov and Artur Yusupov, prize-winners of Paralympic Games: Nikita Nagaev, Victoria Boikova, Julia Maya, Lyudmila Vasilyeva, and also winners and prize-winners of the World and European championships.
The opening ceremony will take place on June 14.
During 5 competition days 16 sets of medals will be played out in individual competitions on epee, foil and sabre, as well as in team competition.
Awarding and closing ceremony will be held on June 18.
