MINISTER OF SPORT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OLEG MATYTSIN AT THE MINISTRY OF SPORT OF RUSSIA PRESENTED STATE AWARDS TO ATHLETES, COACHES AND SPECIALISTS IN PARALYMPIC SPORTS

On March 15, the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin presented state awards to athletes, coaches and specialists in Paralympic sports.

“I congratulate you on your well-deserved awards and thank you for the work and victories that you have brought to our country,” the Minister addressed the guests of the event. - You show a worthy example of how to overcome difficulties, no matter what the circumstances. We, in turn, will continue to create the necessary conditions for you to work, train and participate in competitions"

The Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian Federation was awarded to:

Roman Zhdanov - an athlete in swimming among PI Athletes, an honored master of sports;

Alexander Pinaev - mechanic of the Russian national sports team in Paralympic sports (alpine skiing) of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Center for Sports Training of Russian National Teams;

Evgeny Pinaev - coach of the Russian national sports team in paralympic sports (alpine skiing) of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Center for Sports Training of Russian National Teams;

Elena Sokolova is an honored coach of Russia in swimming for PI Athletes.

The gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation was announced:

Aleksandr Kuzinu - mechanic of the national sports team of the Russian Federation in cross-country skiing and biathlon of the sport for persons with physical impairments;

Yuri Luchkin - an athlete in swimming among PI Athletes, an honored master of sports.

The awards ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Marina Tomilova, Deputy Director of the Department for Implementation of RPC Programs, 3-time champion of the Paralympic Games in para athletics Olga Semenova.

The Russian Paralympic Committee congratulates athletes, coaches and specialists on being awarded state awards of the Russian Federation.
