IWAS General Assembly took place in Sharjah, UAE
Chairman of the RPC Governing Board, RPC 1st Vice-President, IWAS Vice-President took part at meeting of the IWAS General Assembly in Sharjah, UAE.
The meeting was chaired by the IWAS President Rudy Van den Abbeele during the 2019 IWAS World Games.
The main topics of the IWAS General Assembly:
· Inclusion of new members (Algerian NPC, Czech Sport Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities, Administration of Sport Control for Disables in India, Indonesian NPC, Nepal Para Swimming Association);
· Development of powerchair hockey and wheelchair fencing
· Financial issues
· Sport Programs of IWAS World Games 2020 and 2021.
During the General Assembly the Russian NPC was offered the possibility to organize 2021 IWAS Wheelchair Fencing World Championships and 2021 IWAS World Games in Russia as well as IWAS General Assembly.
